CASE STUDY — TZEDA GIVING

Building a brand from a name and a blief.

Tzeda is a philanthropic giving platform that creates community-driven funds around the needs of underserved populations. The founders came with me to turn their idea into something real to begin pitching their product to investors. We built their visual identity.

THE STARTING POINT

A name, a concept, and a blank canvas.

They came in with the name Tzeda, a clear mission, and no visual identity. My job was to translate what they believed into something people could see and feel. A brand that could sit comfortably in the world of social impact and philanthropy without looking like every other nonprofit that came before it.

The result was a full brand system: logo treatments, typography, a color story, website mockups, a brand deck, and a pitch deck. Everything they needed to show up with confidence to investors, partners, and the communities they serve.

BEYOND THE BRIEF

The partnership that made it real.

Because I was working across both Tzeda and Sienna Naturals at the same time, I saw an opportunity that nobody had asked me to find. Sienna's "Rooted in Real" campaign was built around the toxic beauty product crisis affecting Black women, a community Tzeda existed to serve. I connected the two brands and led the establishment of the Rooted in Care Fund, a live giving initiative administered by Tzeda on Sienna's behalf.

The fund partners with three organizations — California Black Women's Health Project, Breast Cancer Prevention Partners, and PsychoHairapy — to address the health impacts of toxic beauty products on Black women. It became Tzeda's first major brand partnership.
